Hi, I'm Aryn
As a licensed graduate professional counselor (LGPC) and certified trauma professional, I am passionate about helping individuals initiate healing and reignite wholeness, by accessing their own inner wisdom. I guide individuals through an exploration of the resilience of the human body and spirit, through full presence in heart, body, and mind.
I use a framework that recognizes the impact of cultural factors and oppressive systems, on individuals and families. My training includes race-based trauma, somatic healing, and other integrated body-based practices.

My approach is guided by an intersectional lens and my spirituality.
As a black cis-woman, identity, inclusion, equity, and belonging are focal points for me. I’m passionate about empowering BIPOC folx and supporting them in protecting their well-being in both professional and personal landscapes.
To empower my clients, I work collaboratively utilizing an integrative approach that combines liberation-based healing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), somatic healing, and mindfulness-based practices. I also have advanced training working with developing leaders, and with young adults experiencing transition.
I hold a Bachelor's degree from Howard University, a Master’s degree in Education from George Mason University, and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Development from George Washington University.
